Livi Mills is a visual artist and printmaker living and working in London. Livi has a Masters in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts and a BA in Fine Art from the University of Leeds. She has just completed a year-long scholarship at Morley College where she is also a freelance printmaking tutor.
Livi uses photography to reveal ‘place’ as a human construct, particularly drawn to landscape as an illusive space, containing invisible divisions and borders that contradict our limitless impression of nature. Livi’s landscapes become internal, isolated spaces, characterised by a sense of movement or ‘passing through’; idylls trapped in a state of flux.
