A recent graduate from Camberwell College of Arts in MA Printmaking, my prints are primarily based around the topics of tactility, the optic and light. Interested in the relationship that the sense of touch has with both paper and fabric and the textures they obtain through the etching process. White and the monochrome palette is essential to my practice as I believe it shows it’s raw state and true meaning. My intentions are to raise questions around the concept of being visually impaired and how your other senses instantly heighten once one is lost. Exploring ideas such as if one does have a visual impairment what is the imagery they see, and is what they see an abstraction or a true representation?
