My work is inspired by repeated journeys.
Like generations of my family, I have spent my life zig-zagging across the United Kingdom for work, love and fun. Therefore, I have always had an underlying interest in repeated journeys, whether by car, rail, or weary foot.
My recent work is about commuting into London and this will continue to run parallel with other work. It is my own interpretation of these glimpses of daily life that I like to share. I gain inspiration from stuff that is already there, whether originating from quick sketches on bits of paper, written lists of things including the mundane and quirky, or something seen or overheard.
