Handan’s work is inspired by diverse cultural, historical and literary references from different parts of the world. The power of nature and women as source of life and the symbiotic relationship between the two both in their spiritual and physical presence is explored through her work. The imaginary landscapes takes the viewer o a self reflective journey.
