Maki Takizawa is a practising printmaker who handles a variety of print techniques and keeps trying to develop them constantly.
Her works are inspired by the inherent beauty of natural forms, textures, and details that pair up with consciousness and subconsciousness. She presumes that fascinated by the beauty of natural phenomena, consciousness and subconsciousness are a piece of the puzzle in her creation. Consciousness is not an object but exists in people’s minds. The creative pieces sometimes notify the memories of feelings and give a fresh viewpoint with unique meaning when recalled. The work will be a trigger to start communicating on daily subjects.
