I’m interested in an area of ambiguities, where the ancient and the contemporary, the perceived and the dream, the sign and the image inter-react.<\/p>\n

A stay in rural areas of North India while working with Tibetan refugees and learning from Tibetan artists suggested a reality that is neither fixed nor necessarily coherent.<\/p>\n

Human experience is layered and fragmentary, and art is an investigation of the language of marks and images that seek to reconcile the inner with the outer, the individual with the environment.<\/p>\n
