LOOP, an artist-led initiative, will show recent work at Bankside Gallery in April.
LOOP exhibitions show an exciting mix of new work from a group of practicing printmakers, and demonstrate the variety and vitality of contemporary print. LOOP encourages creative freedom by offering artists who work in print the opportunity to present their individual subject matter and choice of media.
The link between the artists taking part is a background at Camberwell School of Art, one of the foremost centres for printmaking in the UK.
Started by artist John Tate in 2005, LOOP has organised yearly exhibitions of print in London, at the Menier Gallery, at Bankside Gallery (2007), at the Clifford Chance gallery in Canary Wharf, and at The Gallery in Redchurch Street (2009).
