LOOP is an informal co-operative of artists with a background in print. Some of these artists have exhibited internationally, set up print studios, or pursued teaching careers, while others have continued to work in their own studios. A few newcomers have recently completed a Printmaking MA at Camberwell College. LOOP is an evolving platform that has presented some of the best in new printmaking.
The focus of the exhibitions has always been print, with creative and experimental use of the oldest to the newest technologies. The variety and vitality of contemporary print has been evident in all LOOP exhibitions.
LOOP2016 brings together a group of 24 artists:
Anna Alcock, Margaret Ashman, Lynne Blackburn, Anthony Broad, Andrew Carter, Richenda Court, Frank Dolphin, Marianne Ferm, Jane Lacy Hodge, Julie Hoyle, Fabienne Khial, Janet Milner, Jackie Newell, Ann Norfield, Ralph Overill, Elizabeth Peer, Sumi Perera, Annee Robson, Handan Sadikoglu, Lucinka Soucek, Maki Takizawa, John Tate, Susan Turner and Pauline Wood.
